What Gear Finnish Teenage Sensation Niilo Moilanen Is Using

Newsfeed, Training & Outfitting
On the opening day of the FIS Junior World Championships Niilo Moilanen,19, didn't win - he pretty much destroyed the competition by winning each of his runs with a huge gap. While the Finnish coaches now must be agonizing over bringing or not a teenage sensation onto already strong sprint team for Oberstdorf, we take a quick look at what stood apart - Niilo's gear. Stood apart because with this level of talent top gear makers must be craving Niilo's attention - yet he is using relatively modest brands to such a great effect. Does it mean anything? Beginning Of February, Bolshunov Wins World Cup 2020/21

Newsfeed
There is no mistake in title: a 24 year old Russian retains his World Cup winner title season. After his double victories in Falun, Bolshunov currently has 1613 points. The only skier who could have - very theoretically - overtaken him is fellow Russian Ivan Yakimushkin, but on Friday it was announced that Yakimushkin is skipping Ulricehamn stage to better prepare for the World Championships in Oberstdorf. Clearly, the decision of the Norwegian ski federation to abstain from many World Cup stages played the role. Having said that, Bolshunov looks almost unstoppable this season in any distance race and more than confident in sprints. Congratulations, Alexander - great skiing, weird season or not!
