New Rossignol X-IUM Carbon Premium Boots Spotted Testing

Rossignol continues to test its newest design of X-IUM Carbon Premium boots that are supposed to replace the current flagship model in shops next year. Unlike Salomon that split its S/LABs offerings with Classic debuting last season and Skate version just spotted , Rossignol looks to be preparing to offer both C and S at the same time. As with all manufacturers of top boots, Rossignol employs an expertise of both in-house specialists - and top World Cup athletes in fine-tuning its next podium weapon. We doubt the boots will retain its black-on-black appearance in the final version - Rossignol's recent magenta look gained the French company a lot of fans. News Just In: Frida Karlsson Benched By Doctors , Won’t Compete

World's best young skier and absolute princess of social media who rocket-fast became a face of cross country skiing, has been benched for undetermined period of time - and for unspecified health-related issue. SVT, Swedish national television simply stated that doctors found her " unfit to compete". Frida is a second uber-elite skier to stop competing this season after Ingvild Oestberg was sidelined with very similar and super-vague explanation: health is not good enough to compete. Now the comparisons between two extraordinary skiers are unavoidable.

If you think it was Johannes Klaebo or Alex Bolshunov who the fans who lined up the tracks of Birkebeineren ski stadium on Saturday were cheering on the most - think again. Nope, it was Vebjoern Turtveit who has totally stole the show with his choice of ergh...racing apparel. Moreover, we hereby postulate that wearing something like that in a mass start is nothing but a page from psychological ops or PSYOPs ! Surely no skier who follows a mighty 25 year old Norwegian on uphill could think of anything else but those, you know palms or whatever else is pictured. Or just laugh hysterically. Learn from the best, kids: Turtviet came strong 12th in the race that featured the world best. They probably did not see.
