Things to know about Karolina Kaleta:
– at 17 (she turned 17 only last week), she is the youngest member of the ” Super Squad” led by Aleksander Wierietielny and Justyna Kowalczyk where the best Polish female skiing talents are assembled. Their progress is astonishing and we fully expect this team to start seriously fighting for top podiums as of this year. ((Correction: Karolina is the 2d youngest. Hanna Popko is even younger))
– Karolina has older sister, Weronika Kaleta, 20, who is also part of the Super Squad. As she’s younger, Karolina calls herself Kaletka or ” little Kaleta” on Instagram.
– Karolina is occasionally practicing biathlon as well as skiing.
– Karolina is 180cm tall.
– Karolina just reached a true elite level in her sporting career by clearing 100 FIS points ( 83.24 to be precise) by coming 20th in Sunday’s 10k F in Muonio which Natalia Nepryaeva won (with 20 FIS points).
