Oda is originally from Norway, where she started skiing at the age of 8 Now 22, Ms. Bekkestad is studying communication and journalism at the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay in the United States - and continues her skiing career as a student-athlete. Well, here's a brand-new xc skiing event that has every chance of becoming popular in itself - and paving the way for more. Paznaun - Ischgl area in Austrian Tyrol is very well known - for its downhill skiing. But as "narrow skiing" destination - not so much.
