Last week Pourya Shafizadeh, a 37 year old Norwegian of Iranian origin made headlines in Scandinavia. A financial consultant from Sandnes near Stavanger have declared his ambition to run a cross-country skiing race at the Olympic Games next year – despite having no experience in international competitions ( he's a dedicated and fairly strong long distance skier though).
