Therese Johaug might be out of the Olympics - but not out of the hearts of her fans. In the first social media post since the CAS verdict on Tuesday, a 29 year old Norwegian has spoken directly to her followers vie social media: 'The Olympics will go without me this season, but the dream of the World Championship in Seefeld 2019 no one can take away from me. Therese Johaug will miss the 2018 Olympic games in PyeongChang This is the verdict made public today by the  Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne — Johaug is to be banned from all competitions for 18 months, starting from October 2016. "...the Panel noted that Ms Johaug failed to conduct a basic check of the packaging, which not only listed a prohibited substance as an ingredient but also included clear doping cautionary warning. The announcement of the most awaited decision of this year was postponed – again. The Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne will not make make public its decision on Therese Johaug's case this Friday as was widely expected – Tuesday next week is a new target date. No reason for postponement was given. At stake is participation of one the world's strongest – and by far the best paid – skiers in the Olympic Games in Korea next year. Johaug tested positive for the anabolic steroid Clostebol September, 16 last year.
