FIS Ruled Thus:

The FIS Council on Friday has made the following decisions ( in some cases officially confirmed previously reached ones) - Nordic World Championships 2021 in Oberstdorf, Germany will take place: " preparations are well on track and approved by the national health authorities". - Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2021 is moved to Pragelato, Italy ( cross country ski races) instead of Zakopane, Poland - World Cup will take place almost without change to original schedule. Ban On Fluoro Wax Postponed?

Unpack your HFs: FIS has caved in to pressure and has decided to delay the introduction of blanket" fluoroban" in international competitions, YLE reports quoting Martin Norrgård, Team Finland chief waxing specialist. The ban will be postponed for a year and the decision made public on the FIS Council meeting on October 9th. The Dailyskier.com sources confirm that information with a correction that " one year extension is not final - the technology to test for possible cheating is simply not there yet and who knows how long it would take to develop that to workable level!".

Zakopane Junior World Championships 2021 Cancelled, FIS Looks For Alternatives

" The Polish Ski Association requested FIS to postpone the Nordic JWSC 2021 in Zakopane to 2022, due to stricter national health regulations. FIS is committed to find alternative solutions in order to ensure JWSC competitions in the upcoming season 2020/21 " reads the international federation's latest press release.
