..Once in a while there is a new invention, some exotic device that is meant to give a skier that much talked about "winning margin". Most of those invention have come and gone. Because said TV coverage generates buzz, buzz translates into popularity, popularity brings bigger investments, bigger investments provide us with more places to ski and better ( and cheaper) equipment to buy.
