ISPO-2019. New Equipment Highlights. Part 1

ISPO, a world-leading international trade fair for sporting goods and sports fashion, kicked off in Munich on Sunday.

Most xcski-related manufacturers have brought their wares to Munich to show them to specialists, retailers, media – and prospective customers. Some – like Fischer Nordic – time their premiers to ISPO, others simply highlight the latest gear & supplements. A few – like Amer Sports’ Salomon and Atomic – are skipping ISPO altogether.

Over the next few days we shall highlight the most exciting items on display here at Dailyskier.com

Most discussed innovation in xcskiing this year by far: Speedmax 3D with gliding sidewall
liquid for Speedmax 3D gliding sidewall: ultra-high flouro, made by Vauhti and with retail sticker of some $65 in the US, European price TBC
Madshus Skate Race Pro, company’s 2d top model after Redline 2.0 is nothing but… an old Redline under a different name & with reduced price sticker
fairly rare xcski-relaed exhibit from accross the ocean: US-made Sportube will save you from worries about heavy handling of your precious skis at airports. Catch: even the biggest one is 4 pairs of skis/poles maximum
